The concept can be used to reduce code and simplify more complex 
tasks.  Think of them as user buildable routines that can serve 
similarly to anything that's built into AB/AFL.

For example if there was no built in MACD and you wanted one in a 
variety of indicators and/or systems, it would be a simple process to 
build it test and then use it in the same way you use any built in 
function as opposed to having to code or clone another one every time 
you needed it.
