1) PowerScan contains a subset of the indicators and functionality contained in AmiBroker (33 indicators). It will get you started in understanding AFL formula creation by presenting the formula and english language equivalent together as you build your exploration/scanning requirements.
You are able to download a trial version which will give you an good idea of what PowerScan is capable of from here: www.amitools.com
There are beginner style tutorials here: http://www.amitools.com/formulahelp.htm
This tutorial section will be expand over time.
2) Yes, backtest results will print out for indivdual tickers.

Any help would be appreciated since I am considering purchasing
amibroker.
Will Powerscan enable me to create every type of formula I could
possibly learn to write myself? I am not very good with programming
and I am looking for a tool that will enable me to benefit from
Amibroker without pulling the hairs out of my head. Basically, I am
trying to determine if Powerscan will give me all the flexibility
that Amibroker offers without the headaches of learning the
programing formula.
Also, I was interested in knowing about the back testing. If I run
a backtest on a group of 100 stocks, will the results print out for
each stock individually or would the results appear in a one page
print out that averages the results for all the trades?
