There is no such thing I know of as a "high close". There is a high,
and there is a close, but they are different, and there is no "high
close".
Assuming you mean today's H minus yesterday's H, it would be:
PD = H - ref(H,-1);
If you mean (today's H minus todays C) minus (yesterday's H minus
yesterday's C), it would be:
PD = (H - C) - (ref(H,-1)-ref(C,-1)); // I am not sure the extra
parentheses are needed, but it makes it very clear what we are doing
and can't hurt
If you mean something else, you have to clarify.
