Hallo Everyone !
Just a quick Q. In my hunt for free Intraday Data fills, I have just
downloaded a trial version of SSChart...very nice little progie indeed. It
somehow according to it's website and also a clear setting on the software
itself, feeds it self from Yahoo for delayed intraday quotes. This service
is apparently free and it works like a charm as per my test. It is
available for all the markets that the normal EOD data is for. The
programme also has a data export function to export Weekly, EOD and also
Intraday data to csv files...ALL data mining is free ...
My question thus is, how to gain access to this intraday data , that all
this time I did not think was available...We all know how easy it is to work
with the data provide from yahoo and all the possibilities, thus I can only
imagine how nice it would be if we could mine the intraday data even if it
is delayed...rendering Quote Tracker useless almost...
If anyone has experience with this, kindly share your info with me please
...I now know for a fact that Yahoo does supply FREE delayed intraday
quotes...

The SSChart candlestick charting software runs under
Windows95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP and charts financial data from a variety of
sources. Realtime intraday charting of futures, stocks, options and indicies
with data from Interactive Brokers TWS, or myTrack. Historical stock data is
automatically downloaded by the program from free sources via the Internet
and displayed as daily, weekly, or monthly charts of prices and volume.
Creates intraday charts from free ECN and delayed quotes. With myTrack
subscription you can also get orderbooks, time&sales, and level II displays.
Most of the more popular technical studies can be overlaid in any of the
three available display panes of the chart window. IB and myTrack sources
use a quote router so you can display data on more than one computer
connected on a LAN.
