I like the capability of the built-in browser, and the flexibility
there to match the required fields of many sites. Since it would be
simple to code the option of having Profile open in a separate
window, I think it would be good to have the choice for a few
reasons.
Use of the Profile, by adding it as a pane, competes for screen
space, and scrolling is always required. If it were a separate
window, it could be sized once, tucked behind the main window and
available with a click, and be immediately readable without
scrolling. As long as it stayed linked to the current symbol, it
could be very convenient. FWIW :)
