[amibroker] optimization with tickers-> strings not accepted?

Hi,

just want to know why this works
ticker="^DJI";
scSwingFibo(ticker,4);

and the optization does not work
tick= Optimize("tick", 1, 1, 2, 1 ); 
ticker=IIf(tick==1,"^IXIC","^DJI");
scSwingFibo(ticker,4);

PS: scSwingFibo(ticker,4); is a dll of course but the optimization 
seems 
to do not accept strings??
