I have an extended desktop via two
monitors. It works very well. For instance, when I decide to develop
a new scan, I open AA, then I pull it over to the other monitor. This
allows me to have a full view of a chart which shows a major breakout
to the upside.
I can then write the coding which
describe how my homemade indicators behaved right before the big
breakout. Another thing that I like about this setup is the ability to
access the local folders of outlook express where I keep a lot of what I call
coding modules.
The coding that I am doing involves a lot of
repetitive lines of the same thing. It is really handy to be able to just
copy the modules from the outlook local folders, and then paste them into the AA
window, without ever loosing site of any of the pages.
I also want to make additional use of these two
monitors by displaying full-size weekly charts on the left monitor, and
full-size daily charts on the right monitor. I have never done anything at
all with these multiple chart options. This thread
prompted me to give it a try.
I clicked on window>new and I got the two
windows that I need. However, I cannot move one of them to the other
monitor. I tried tile vertically, and still no luck. When I stabbed one of
the charts with my arrow and moved it toward the other
monitor, the other monitor refused to accept it. Then, I pulled
back on the last visible part of the chart, and it came back , but it
was stretched out so much that it was too wide to fit on the monitor that it
started from.
I obviously don't need to tell you that I am
technically challenged. Any suggestions of how to do this.

with Weekly OHLC, Sheet 2 with Daily OHLC
Yes, Complety. Im surprised others don't do
this.......... Mabie they do?Do this...............1)Go to your
layouts.2)Right Click on Default and Save as "SplitPane"3)Double click
on the SplitPane (To Select it).4)Go to "Window" menu and create a new
window.5)Arrange and SET one window to Daily and the next to
Weekly.6)Right click on "SplitPane" and SAVE.Now - When you double
click on "Default" your original Setup should appear. And When you double
click on "SpitPane" that should appear.Be WARNED - If you exit AB the
currently selected layout will be saved as "Default"You should make a
Copy of the Default - Called Original. (See in
