Gerry,You will find a seperate copy of the help
file at <A href=""
target=_blank>http://www.amitools.com/download.htmDuring the
PowerScan installation the only change that is made is to add a customised tool
menu item. This will enable you to start PowerScan. You can delete this at any
time using Tools-->Customize... select the PowerScan item in the list and
click delete. The menu item is removed if you uninstall PowerScan. The
installation creates a sub-directory under your AmiBroker directory and installs
the following files:PowerScan.exe - Main executable
filePS.chm - Help FilePSCANS - File
that contains scans you create and some samples.Readme.htm
- Readme file for PowerScanunins000.exe - Inno Setup
Uninstaller programunins000.dat - Uninstall information
fileVBRuntime files and systems files are installed if
required.tempFilter.txt - When you run PowerScan for the
first time a file is created in your AmiBroker database folder called
'tempFilter.txt', this file contains filter information on a per database basis.
If  you change databases a new file is created for the new AmiBroker
database.A registry sub-key is added to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software
key for program configuration and preferences settings
information.Support:Registered users receive 12 month support
via email. There is also a PowerScan yahoo group similar to this one, mainly for
users to interact with one another but I do moderate this group  and will
answer any questions that require answering. It is not very active at the moment
and is mainly used for notifications etc.My goal is to provide a similar
level of support and quality relations as the AmiBroker product
itself. If you have any further questions please email at <A

[amibroker] documentation on 3rd party - powerscanI am rather
nervous about installing anything which is apparentlytightly coupled to ami
itself, before i can read all thedocumentation. Are there any user
experiences - what support is there? Is it possible for the powerscan owner
to send me the powerscan doc,or place it separately in the 3rd party
list. How about requiring available documentation for 3rd party stuff to
bealways placed separately there?------------------------ Yahoo!
