Just so I can anchor this.
Are you saying that when a condition is met I get a 1. And when I say
cum(c>ref(cond,-1), it looks at the actual value of today's
close,($36) and determines that's more than 1 so count it.
If so, I can understand that. But what puzzles me is not every bar or
combination of bars meet the exact specified condition. Therefore the
cum(c>ref(cond,-1) number should have been less than the total bars
loaded.
I got a headache.
