Jayson,

Higher # of levels gives you just more resolution but is a
little bit slower.
THere is no sense it setting higher number than vertical
resolution of screen
(or I should say price window pane).

Default 300 provides nice balance between
resolution/speed.

You can use 2nd example code just to try all settings by
moving slider:

Plot( Close, "Price", colorBlack, styleCandle
);PlotVAPOverlay( Param("lines",300,10,1000,1), Param("width",10,1,99,1),
ParamColor("color", colorYellow), Param("mode",0,0,1,1)
);

  Could you please
  outline the advantages/disadvantages of higher/lower # levels? For instance in
  what cases would you wish to use a #level of say 1000 versus a setting of
  200
  Regards,
  Jayson
