Hello,
1. IB plugin should appear in late July.
IB and DDE plugins although anticipated are delayed a bit because of simple
fact that I decided to implement full-featured plugins first
like: IQFeed, QCharts/Quote.com, Marketcast (ASX)
as they provide BACKFILL.
Neither IB nor DDE provides BACKFILL which is ESSENTIAL in charting/backtesting application.
I want to stress it out: IB has no backfill. It does not even have OPEN price.
Usability of such feed is VERY LIMITED.
There will be IB plugin but I will NOT recommend using IB as one and only data source
because the lack of backfill.
2. No you will not need RT version to run IB plugin.
