*My opinion* on this is that AmiBroker can't be all things to all
users. I personally use AB with several other software programs and
always will... Excel, two statistics packages, a 3d graphics program,
two Monte Carlo simulators and proprietary software I had developed to
cover what the other programs don't.
That probably sounds messy but it's not at all (for me anyway). I
couldn't imagine trading a system or pattern without the different
perspectives I get from pooling these resources.
