Try this for troubleshooting your problems:
Run AddToComposite in 'exploration' mode over a single day and view
the composite ticker via AddColumn. You should see the composite
ticker increase in value from the top of the exploration to the
bottom.
Exploration mode is one of option arguments of the AddToComposite
command.
