I have been trying to use export.dll plugin to convert AQ data to
Metastock format data into a new program.
The AA and plugin work well and fast, but the data is not formatted
properly.
I can use plain ASCII-CSV format type in which case the symbol must
not appear with the data, or there must be a D, before the symbol to
be Metastock type data.
Please see below, my email to Pattern Forecaster and their response.
Can you help?

The reply from pattern forecaster:

The SYMBOL is causing a problem. Can you remove it?? If so, then
the file will load as CSV ASCII YYYYMMDD,O,H,L,C,V,OI type files.
For this to be Metastock ASCII data, is should look like this...
D,CIEN,19970207,16.5000,19.1900,15.7500,18.5000,7332700
D,CIEN,19970210,18.5000,18.5000,16.8800,17.2500,2106400
D,CIEN,19970211,17.2500,18.1200,16.3800,16.3800,668400
If you have control of the EXPORT conditions, try what I suggested
above.
