Will
you be charging for the product in the future and if so have you set a
price?

  availableThank you Jim,Those are very
encouraging words and I appreciate them very much.I know that the
majority of users that post to this forum are somewhat beyond what PowerScan
has to offer although they may find it useful to perform quick stock screens,
it really depends on individual style of trading/investing
etc.Although only a relatively limited number of Amibroker users
regularly post to this forum there are many who read these posts. Since the
first announcement of PowerScan I've had some  interest from Amibroker
users who contact me privately. I also wonder how many potential users decide
coding is all too difficult and move to something more
graphical...Regarding support, those who register (when this becomes
available) will be entitled to 12 months email support, there is also a
PowerScan yahoo group where users can exchange between one another (the same
as Amibroker). For the near future PowerScan will remain as it is, I'm
currently concentrating on bugs, documentation and installation issues. There
have already been a number of interesting feature requests which may be
implemented over the next 12 months, apart from this I cannot promise anything
more. Thanks again for your vote Jim.Regards,William

Beta 1.21 availableI have noticed that no one on this board has
commented on this new software tool for Amibroker. (I realize that many
here can write AFL in their sleep)I will comment.Thank you
William Peters for your excellent work. This new Powerscan AFL Interface
tool will no doubt enable many new (and older, AFL challenged) Amibroker
users to better understand AFL and to create their own scans etc... with
no difficulty at all. It will no doubt bring new users to Amibroker, which
will benifit both you and Thomasz.Your Powerscan tool is very much
appreciated and I personally thank you for the hard work you put (and
continue to put) into it.With Amibroker/Thomasz, the standard of
frequent improvements and stellar support has been well set. I expect (and
hope) that you will try to follow in Thomasz's footsteps. I will
be looking forward to each new beta release.I will vote for
AmiBroker/Powerscan as the #1 BEST STANDALONE ANALYTICAL SOFTWARE for the
2004 TASC Readers Choice Awards.Best RegardsJim--- In
