You cannot refer to itself within excel as it is an error to my knowledge.
You will need to have another cell to use your formula
Eg in Cell HQ1 put your =if(P1>=HP1,P1,HP1)

I currently have my AmiBroker Porfolio in Excel, and am trying to create a
TrailingStop in Excel. But am completly stummped.
How do I get a cell to update ONLY if the value it's comparing is greater
than itself.
Expected cell formula: =if(P1>=HP1,P1,HP1)
Basicaly a simple trailing stop example in excel would be enough for me to
work on, But I can't find any scouring the web.
