This is the simple explore code I run to update my realtime database.
As has been discussed here recently, this works ok if you are updating
ONE day. If you have skipped some days, this will request data tickers
much more rapidly that eSignal will deliver them and the result is many
tickers do not get updated. This is one (the primary?) source of data
"holes". I think TJ has promised a revision to the eSignal plugin that
will add some delay between data requests for each ticker so the data
arrives before the program goes on to the next ticker.
Here is the simple code:
Filter=1;
Buy=1;
AddColumn(C,"Close",1.2);
