My experience from the analytic Solution2 
[http://groups.yahoo.com/group/amibroker/message/40414 ] :
The first time I open the sheet with 2 panes  MACDBULL and RSIobi 
already loaded, it takes some 2sec to see the graphs.
Then, the updates delay was invisible [I use automatic 1min EOD 
update] .
It was easy to have this sheet on the screen and AA window free for 
complementary explorations.

I agree with you whenever I do not need AA window for extra fast 
investigations [for the ...usual suspects. I will not speak more, 
but, the final value of some important ~tickers depends on 4 or 5 
stocks, by coincidence the same every time]
