certainly am interested and I would really appreciate some
assistance. I have to admit that "scripts" is the one remaining
thing that I haven't played with in AmiBroker. As soon as I saw your
original reply, I knew today was the day for learning something
new.

sorta thinking out loud but you can prolly loop thru the watch lists via the
script without the external file. If you're interested let me know and I'll
try to work up something that'll get you started.

there some way to access a text file from within a loop?
The text file could contain all of the tickers that I want to access in the
loop. Or... do I need to write a dll to do
