The main intention of on-line help was to have ability to
quickly
add comments to the functions, so when I get some
question
regarding given function I can place a comment (as in case of
DEMA)
and once "official" version is released these comments are
automatically included in the off-line users
guide because I have
written a script that generates AFL reference out of
the on-line database.
The secondary intention was to keep on-line version more
recent of course,
but... the problem is that I am running short of hours in a
day and
haven't had enough time to add new features to the on-line
reference yet.
I already described the way the documentation is produced
and
read-me files in betas are just MUST-READ for everyone who
wants to use betas.

thought that the purpose of the on line version was so that TJ could keep the
help file current to the beta versions. The built in help covers the current
release the user owns. Perhaps I misunderstood Tomasz's intentions.... No
matter, the answers usually le in the read me notes anyway

this IMHO would irritate the majority of the users
who don't use betas, so
they would then think
something is wrong or missing in their version,
isn't it?

as far as I know a
newer official version of AB has not been
released yet; the current
improvements (looping etc.) are in
beta versions only. The docs are <FONT
face=Arial>updated with the final release,
till then the changes are <FONT
face=Arial>documented in the readme files of the betas.
