is certainly not the case on interday data with esignal on my computer. I click
a bar several back I must read the data very fast because in 2 seconds ( my
refresh setting) the vertical line vanishes and I see values for the current
last bar...... It may work on EOD data but not on 5- 15 minute bars (at least
for me). Perhaps it is a setting I am unaware of??

No it is not like that. The selection stays in place (at least
using eSignal or myTrack feed).

believe so..... the vertical line re-sets to the current bar as soon as there
is a new current bar, so if your refresh rate is 2 seconds then you have just
2 seconds...

when recieving data in order to get the line to stay in once place longer
than a second you have to "shut down" and that will give keep the line
from moving back? There is no other way to get a "data window"?
