I actually use some of these as I have trouble with the standard outputs of
dates being read by the MS downloader. I have to adjust things to get it to
read the dates. No idea why it happens and have tried all sorts of things.
Doing things this way makes it possible.

nevertheless, thank you very much for your efforts to help
me to find a solution.
The big plus of Tomasz' solution is that it gives the result
in a format which is already in the users locale date format.
