It was placed in AFL on Dec2001.
As you may see, the recent discussion is not new.
I needed the analytic RSI formula to design my RSIt and the problem 
was solved without votes and tons of messages.
Spend some precious time, that is the secret.

BTW, Wilders smoothing does not accept variable period yet...
