Amibroker is a great tool,
But sometimes, the time it takes learning new improvements can
make it frustrating.
It took me about 3 hours to figure out a very very basic if then
else statement, (My first attempt at using these new statements).
It's in reply to kk12338's previous question.
As far as scripting goes, i can script web pages but do not know how
to implement vbscript with AMI.
I understand VBA,(which is much more difficult than Vbscript) due
to the manuals i have learnt from.
VBcsript is much simpler and i dont have a clue as there are not
enough detailed examples or actual rules of using it with Ami
functions.
I have easily wasted 100's of hours to create an automated measured
move indicator that needed many afl functions in combination with
vbscript and all i gained were headaches.
Its very easy to fall behind at the rate that Ami is being
improved, which renders the new features useless to people who dont
understand these due to not having a detailed reference of the rules,
as well as numerous (explained)examples to go by.
The program itself is great, and this post is not intended to
criticise Ami.
I am probably criticising myself for not being born a programming
genious, I hope i'm not the only one who feels this way.
Besides the cost of replacing my mouse is becoming to expensive.
(computer rage).
Peter.
