I have QT set to save at 1 minute intervals and AB imports at 1 minute
intervals. This is the lowest setting for the eod version of QT.

the QT plug in accesses the QT data to pass to AB, but if it is from the
sdata.dmp file which QT maintains in the QT Cache folder, you might check to
see how often you have the auto save stock data set to within QT. Click on/to
Menu -> Preferences -> Misc {or from tool bar: Options -> Edit
Preferences -> Misc. }. I had mine set to 15 or 30 minutes at one time, but
seemed to have problems like those described. I now have set it to a couple
minutes. Intra day, the size of this file increases each time the auto save
completes it’s cycle. If AB is reading data from this file, then between auto
saves it would not seem to be updating.

find the quotes in AB do not update for some tickers. This is
spasmodic with no pattern that I can see, and does not always happen. Have
found that it will update the next time a trade is made for the ticker and
imported to AB from QT. I don't know what causes it, nor have I find a
foolproof method to overcome it. At the end of the day all seems to be
there.
It is mentioned here that there is minimum add clicks required for QT. I
know Tomasz posted (or someone did) a link to see this but it did not work
for me. What is the minimum clicks required. I tend to click 5 times each
day as a safeguard to keep QT running.
