In AA 
go to settings to choose Long, Short or all. If your settings are set to long 
and short then both rules must appear in your code. If settings are long only 
then no need for short cover rules...

Backtest error
Folks,
 
I wrote some simple buy and sell rules for trying 
something out.
 
While everything worked fine in scan mode, I got 
the message in backtest mode that the system is "missing short and cover 
rules".
 
Can´t I thus write a system that is either long or 
out of the market??
 
Didn´t infer that from the help section 
though...
