your suggestion solved the prob.
But as to the asterisk thing, TJ aparently hasn´t
yet had time to asnwer back.
As you can see, I posted te hprob to teh forum so
that anybody else in the knowing can step in.
No one so far - ar ethere so few QP
users?

assignments?? This should solve the problem...

for the Asterisk, I have no idea. As to the assignments, I believe this
relates to the problem I described yesterday. My data base correctly shows
ALN assigned to Comm-equip. I suggest you follow the procedure I
outlined in my post yesterday to bring your database up to
date.....

I certainly overlooked that one - many thanks
for saving me from a headache.
Do you also know why some industry groups have
an asterisk behind them while some haven´t?
Plus, why have stocks like ALN no industrid in
AB while they seem to belong too Comm-Equipment group in
HGS/QP2?
Any ideas?

ther doesn´t seem to be information (in AB)
to which of the IM 200 groups a given stock belongs to.
Thus, there seems to be no way to retrieve a
stock´s corresponding IM200 group when doing an exploration.
The only thing one can retrieve is its
sector. Thus one still has to search in HGS/QP2 to which IM200 group it
belongs...
Is there a workaround?
Appreciate any input!
