1. From currently loaded database and local only. See 
Tutorial: Understanding database concepts
(external databases are accessed in read-only 
mode)
 
2. No. Just once a week/month whenever you wish. Once removed 
symbols will not get added
again until you go to File->Database Settings-> 
Configure and choose "RETRIEVE" 
 
3. Tools->Cleanup database

  Folks,
   
  IŽd have three questions to the cleanup script 
  from TJ:
   
  1./ from WHICH database (local or QP2) are the 
  symbols being deleted, i.e. will they remain in QP2 database if one still 
  wants to review them
   
  2./ Since AB seems to retrieve (thru QP2 plugin) 
  quotes from the whole QP2 database every day, will I have to run that script 
  EVERY day to straighten up my database?
   
  3./ is there a way to call that script DIRECTLY 
  from AB instead of the MS Explorer?
