  <SPAN
  class=470344314-27022003>Markus,
  lets
  say that last week you built a filter in QP which passed 105 stocks. You
  exported this list then brought it into AB via the wizard. Your watch list now
  contains 105 issues. Now this week you run the same filter in QP but only 90
  stocks make the cut (maybe some of these stocks were different from last
  weeks) . again you export the new list and bring into AB via the wizard. To
  ensure that the updated watchlist contains only the stocks that passed your
  current filter you first need to empty the watchlist prior to running the
  wizard. While all the stocks in your QP database always return the
  current  (last updated) data in AB, the wizard only adds new components
  to your watchlist, it does not subtract. In the example above if 10 of the
  stocks in this weeks filter were new (compared to last weeks results) then
  simply running the wizard would result in a watchlist of 115 stocks rather
  than the 90 you wanted........

  Hello Jayson,

  what sorta "changes" are you talking
  about?

  Do you mean adding to/deleting from the
  watchlist? The symbols as such will be updated as usual, won´t
  they?

  Thanks for clarifying and a great
day

    class=901293405-27022003>perhaps the simpler approach would be make those
    exclusions in QP then export that list to AB. Similarly you could create a
    separate watch list for all your indexes in this manner. Keep in mind
    however that when you make changes to this filtered list in QP that the
    changes are not automatically updated in AB. You need to empty the watchlist
    and re-import the list.

    Excluding symbols
    Hello,

    I´ve difficulties to formulate a filter that
    lets me exclude symbols from a scan according to their ticker
    names.

    For instance: exclude all symbols containing
    "!" (indices from the QP2 database) or starting with the letter "a"
    etc.

    How can this be done, please?

    filter=name
