1. Strictly speaking the best response would be to use
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
TJ does not always answer every query as there are many emails and he
may have missed it.
2. Bugs should be reported to bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx as shown on the bottom
of the emails, and in recent email from TJ. I am not certain what the
problem is with the grid over the bar, that to me is common practice in
chart packages. If it is a problem try changing colours. Again if you
consider this an error either report as bug as above, or send email to
suggestions@xxxxxxxxxxxxx as per the bottom of the emails, and on the
"about" window of AB
3. Default grid ? don't know what you mean.

Just a general note is that this forum is really set up for us users to
help each other use AB. I am just extremely grateful that TJ finds the
time to view most emails and respond when possible. I don't know why
people put TJ in the header, I know it is done and why they do it. But
to me TJ reads most of them, and if I really only want him to answer me
I send an email direct to him. If I were TJ I would ignore subject lines
with TJ in them because he already has email systems in place to get his
help. All posts would be treated the same. This is not pointed direct at
you, just a personal general view.

I know I have not answered your queries, but if you had tried once with
no response why try 3 times. There are direct alternatives available.

Graham

Subject: [amibroker] Help please

I've posted the message below 3 times. I'm pretty sure it's getting
through to the group because I got one reply (which I didn't understand)
to one of the questions.

I included in the Subject line the letters 'TJ' since that is the
procedure I've seen many times. However despite posting 3 times, I
cannot get TJ to respond.

Can anyone please advise:
1) why my post isn't being answered by TJ???
2) if you also notice the issues about the missing 'OCT' label on the
weekly view, and the vertical grid plotting over the bar.
3) if you know whether the default vertical grid line will be made
available.

I'm using the latest EOD version (4296).

Thanks very much. Previous post below:

=====================================

Few questions re charting please:

When I switch from daily to weekly view, I only get date markers for APR
and JUL. OCT pops in and out at the right edge as I scroll. Can this be
improved so that for eg, OCT is displayed consistently?

Currently I cannot place default dotted line as vertical month marker
(grid). Are you planning to add this feature?

Also the vertical year markers (grid) plot OVER the 'stylebar' bars
which gives the coincident bar a strange dotted appearance and makes it
hard to see. Can this be fixed so bars plot over the marker (grid)?

Thanks
