Ara,

1. Not directly. (Actually you can create a Shell object and
use either Execute or Run method over external .js file and this should
work
however I didn't test it so I don't guarantee anything
here)

2. Yes Norton tools are so inteligent that they treat every
.JS and .VBS like a "suspicious" or "virus-like" file.
Solution: disable this script checking at all (I think that
there was such option - I don't remember - I throwed Norton AV out of
the window sometime ago)

Subject: [amibroker] AFL / VBS / Norton
  Antivirus

Just finished Sector Rotation - now for the
  testing and streamlining process.....
Thanks to Tomasz, Graham and Dale who provided
  answers.

  A few genaral questions

  1. Is there a way of calling a VBS script from
AFL, if it is completely external to AFL?

  2. Norton Antivirus always flags the VBS script
as "suspicious" and I have to authorize its use every time.
      I have changed the
configuration to allow running this script, but it will run only once without
  being flagged.
Anyone have a way around it?

  Thanks

  Ara
