Jayson,
It is not wise to assign unqualified key shortcuts because
this will affect normal operation of Windows controls.
In Windows up/down arrow keys are used to scroll up/down
listboxes/trees/list controls, carret in the editor etc.
So always use qualified short cuts (with ALT,
CTRL qualifier)
Best regards,Tomasz Janeczkoamibroker.com

in
the keyboard editor I have reassigned up-down arrow to zoom in-out. Instead I
assigned symbol next to page down and previous to page up. this does not seem
to work. when I reset the KB shortcuts all is well. I can always choose page
up-down to zoom, it just seems odd that the program will not allow the up/down
arrow assignment.....

Hello,
If the focus is on the Symbol tree you can use DOWN ARROW
cursor key.

Subject: [amibroker] scrolling through
watchlist
if I select a
watchlist I find that the shortcut key for "next" gives me the next stock in
the data base , not the next stock in the watchlist. Is there a way to see
the next stick in the watchlist without clicking it??
