RE: [amibroker] creating continuous contracts in futures

<span
>If you look at
Database Settings/Configure for the Quote Plus Plug in, it lists options for  Commodity
Futures (continuous) . The QP Plug in is the only one that has this option.I
subscribed to QP for awhile and they did deliver what they termed a &#8220;<font
size=2 color=blue face=Arial>Continuous Contract&#8221; for their commodities. This was not a
true Continuous Contract, but just all the previous upfront contract months
concatenated together.  Thomasz may have came up with a way, using that
data, to make a valid useable Continuous Contract. I have searched the AB
documentation, but cannot find any reference to this option.

It would be great if Thomasz (down the
road sometime) could generate a synthetic Continuous Contract if a database
contained Futures.

I don't think Amibroker can create
Continuous Contracts...It can accept them but not create them.  You'd have
to

use another source to create them suchas
CSI...

Thanks
