Thanks for the info, Judith and Ken. I just ran a virus scan using
McAfee and found none. But, I'll be diligent about that sleazy klez.

Subject: Re: [amibroker] Viruses

Al,

This has been happening on the holygrailsm board for about 7-10-14
days.  Apparently some sicko hacker-type thinks this is funny.

I'm not very sophisticated in computer security.  I received email
from a recognized board poster that had NO attachment and NO message and
that's how I got the Sleezy Klez worm into my computer. You do NOT have
to have an attachment for this worm to get you.  All your program needs
to do is go to the next email and you're infected!!

Within a couple of days, the worm knocked me off our office network,
erased me from the main computer but still allowed me to get on the DSL.
Then, other programs became problematic:  attachments in Microsoft Office
formats (both Excel and Word) would either not load or only partially load as
in no graphics but big white places where the graphics should have been, etc.,
etc., etc.

To cut to the chase, when I installed AVG, it found 3 wormy infestations
on my active C drive (including in the download section of my stock evaluation
program VectorVest) and 703 had worked their way into my less active D hard
drive.

Let this be a Clarion Call -- it would appear your board is next..
Get your prophylactics on NOW.

Judith

In the last half hour or so, I've received about a half-dozen
emails with attachments from sources that I haven't been able to
recognize and that seem very strange. The attachment window
automatically opens and asks if I want to open the attachment. This
doesn't usually happen unless you actually click on the attachment icon.
Suspecting a virus, I immediately erased them without opening them.Has
anyone on this board gotten such emails recently? I'm wondering if
viruses are being transmitted to the Amibroker address list. Al
