Apparently you installed the software one directory too
deep.
C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\AmiBroker instead of
just
C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\
With official versions you should just run the setup program
over the old, previously installed version.
No copies are required. No change in destination
directory.
If you still have problems please copy the keyfile fromyour
original registration e-mail.
If you lost it - I can resend it to you.

Although I repeated the usual procedure,the
installation gives me an unregistered version.
Did I miss something ?
Steps
1. Create a copy of previous 3.90
2. Download from <A

[All systems upgrade only]
3. Install 4.0 over the 3.90 copy
