Thanks franco yes MS = metastocks , I dont use the
downloader my data vendor supplies my data in MS format which AB access using
the ms plugin
I was experiementing with amiquote to get midday
quotes and the qt to ami file , but they dont seem to write to the ms
database , for obvous reasons so i set up another database using MS
importer in AB .
It took me a few minutes to realize something was
wrong , why the sudden volume increases :)
Since I do have MS i will have look at the
Downloader but I wanted to avoid changing my main database as the next d/l from
my vendor would have low volumes :) why they dont all use a standard
volume and ticker list has me beat ...

Hello David,
if, as I suppose, "ms" stands for Metastock, then
you probably own The Equis DownLoader. With this free tool you may adjustany
field of your database in one step, only.
Best regards,
Franco
