Sherm,
"Close" is grayed out if there is only one chart pane displayed.
Apparently we are talking about 2 different things.
I meant chart window pane. You probably mean single chart line.
If you want to remove individual chart lines from the Price chart
you have to go to Tools->Preferences -> Main chart and
use checkboxes to switch appropriate elements of the chart.
If you want to modify the look of custom indicator - you should use
Indicator Builder for this.
