Hello Group,

"Sell and hold" is definitely worth considering with indices such as Nikkei
that have been going down ever since anybody remembers ;-)) Buy&Hold is
negative for Nikkei since 1990.
But even better is Metastock Maximum profit system which lets you see what
the results would be if you always knew when to buy or to sell. After all,
both Buy&Hold and Sell&Hold are meaningless figures if a stock is just
oscillating (which it does all the time) with slightly upward or downward
inclination (over a long period of time). What matters is the amplitude and
frequency of these oscillations.
