Hello
Bill,

I have
been reviewing Time & Price analysis (<A
href="">http://www.ensignsoftware.com/tips/tradingtips13.htm)
- I believe the method described is Pyrapoint. Since you seem
knowledgeable on this type of analysis could you answer a couple of questions
based on the following gif?

As far
as the horizontal line go ... I have found them to be calculated by
(sqrt(price)-t)^2 where price is 244.5 and t is the number of bars. Iam
not sure what the -180, -360, etc are (squares of nine - but I'm not sure what
they are) or how they are used in the calculation of the horizontal
lines.

I have
no idea how to calculate the bars (12,16,25,31, etc.) or the semi-vertical
lines.

Any
insight to this method would be greatly appreciated. I am very new tothis
type of analysis but the example shown was very impressive. All of these
points were determined beforehand using the 244.5 high on
10-16-2000.

Thanks
in advance,
Peter

Trendline
Anthony:
Do you want to draw the line relative to the chart
or relative to the screen (Metastock uses the term trendline by angle to refer
to screen coordinates)? Are you getting into Gann analysis and squaring
of price and time (death angle is a Gann expression)?

Subject: [amibroker] Trendline
Hi Tomasz; If I were to select a significant low point
or high point on a chart, and wished to draw a trendline by angle, from
the significant point, (ex. 45 degrees ) is this possible.I have read
somewhere that the 45degree angle is the death angle.Thank you
in advance.Anthony------------------------ Yahoo! Groups
