Another intraday example(hoping that it will
not arrive on ...Saturday)

you may see in 5 min chart, study Stochastic %K=14, %D=3, the triple 
peak of DOW, at 11:30, 12:15, 12:45 with respective stochastic values
100, 75, 60. Two hours later another 80-90 units lost for DOW.
Not bad at all, especially if it will break the 8790 temporary 
support.
