iShares are a relatively new series.  
International funds started in '96, but sectors at a later date.  As far as 
I can tell, IYR started trading 6/19/00.  It is possible that Morgan 
Stanley followed the IYR fund for a period of time before it was traded, and if 
so they may be willing to let you have that data.
