Dear Dimitris,
I want to thank your for your efforts in demonstrating a means of
improving indicator response through the reduction of lag time.
I have followed Dr. Jurik for a number of years and hold his improved
indicators in the highest regard. To see your interest and encouragement
of those on the ab list to follow in his footsteps is a gesture of the
highest order.
Your obvious intelligence in analyzing Dr. Juriks products and your
demonstrated knowledge of ab and its languages has enabled you to become
one of the contributors who is constantly allowing us
"followers" to improve our results by incorporating your
contributions into our working systems.
I have to admit that the "Crash" Test must be but one step in
your plan to introduce improved adaptive moving averages to the AmiBroker
users group, as the demo you provided presents vividly the contrast
between the present world as it now exists versus what it could be, and
what that improvement could mean to all of us.
I have been enthralled with your Relative Slope work as I wish to follow
you in your progress. My minimal experience leads me to believe that one
important factor to improve the test results is: only enter a trade when
the Weekly chart indicates a positive slope, thus reinforcing the daily
slope indicators.
I hope that you continue to provide the "advanced" leadership
you have fully demonstrated, and if there is anything that I could do to
contribute to your work by assisting you in some way, just contact me
