Hello Tomasz,
I think the problem is that there is a list of stocks that Don wants to
bring into AmiBroker (NOT the whole QP Universe).
The way the QP Import Program works right now it is pretty much an
all-or-nothing import (unless you want to scroll through the whole list of
stocks and select and deselect the issues you want/don't want - not even a
toggle button).
The QP Scanning Program will output a .lst file (just an ordinary CSV file).
Would it be possible to use this file to import only the specific symbols
found in these .lst files?
The problem I see in importing ALL QP data is that there will then be two
databases to maintain - The QP database which will maintain itself (adjust
splits, make error corrections, etc.) and the other database (AmiBroker)
which will have to be maintained by the user. This leaves room for error.
Is there a reason that the data has to be imported into AmiBroker? Why
wouldn't it be possible to read the QP database directly? (I understand
that this is my personal preference and not needed by all users - just
wishful thinking ;))

PS Quotes Plus has ALLOT of fundamental data that AmiBroker does not take
advantage of ... are there any plans on accessing this information?

Dear Don,
You should just have AmiBroker RUNNING when QP import program is running.
Then, they will appear in AmiBroker automatically.
Unless you register, you need to repeat the import procedure everytime you
start AmiBroker.
