I posted the chart of Gold and Gann Square of 9. I am presently strugglingto program Gann and Fibonacci studies in AmiBroker (e.g., Gann Square of 9, Gannsect, Gann/Fibonacci Fans, etc.), but I have run into significant problems either because of my ignorance of AFL or AFL's inability to handle some of the things that I need. If any of the excellent AFL programmers on this board want to collaborate, I could supply the mathematics and required inputs for these studies in return for their programming skills. Gannsect and fan studies are similar, so the programming should be very similar, butAFL might not be able to handle them in its current state. Gann Square of9 I am relatively certain is fairly straightforward (if you know what you are doing). All of these studies are available in other charting programs,but it would be nice to have them consolidated in one place so that like your situation only one program has to be used.

Hello Group !!!
This is my first posting to your group although I have been studying your talks for some time. My name is Louw, I live in South Africa and have been using AmiBroker for quite some time now....in fact, I stopped using my other tech anal. software altogether. AmiBroker is a ACE programme and thefact that it will grow as the user improves his/her knowledge is just super...GREAT job Tomasz.
Well here are a few things I wish to put on the table...I almost feel guilty to request something as Tomasz is already spoiling us with his latestupdates to AB...lol
The only request I have from Tomasz is that I would greatly appreciate it if he can somehow fix the problem I'm having in the Portfolio Manger built into AB. I'm really battling with my spreadsheets and would rather prefer to make use of the portfolio facility. Thomasz as you know from my previous e-mails to you, there is the problem in our update files from Sharenet where the portfolio manager changes the prices to rands from cents and itmesses the whole thing up...e.g.. If I click on buy and buy the current highlighted share for 24c the portfolio manager takes it as R24...maybe some option to select the format of the price e.g..:
12.34
1234
the prices for all shares are as follows in the update files:
2 = 2c
22 = 22c
123 = R1-23
for some or other reason AB changes the above figures to:
2 = R 2-00
22 = R 22-00
123 = R 123-00
you can imagine the mess !!!
If there are anyone else out there that could otherwise recommend another portfolio manager or spreadsheet that does not cost money, I will greatly appreciate knowing about it....thanks in advance !!!
Then a request to Dimitris Tsokakis, after reading and testing your comments and formula's for the Keltner Bands, I read your second reply to someone's reply and offered more reading on this topic....PLEASE if you could give me either links to or even more reading on how to actually apply this indicator study....thanks in advance !!!
Then a request to Bill, I followed your discussions with "Peter" or " P" on the GANN theory...at one stage somebody replied with a formula to actually draw these graph, this person also included the attached picture of the GANN squares... What I wish to know from you is if you actually managed to draw these type of squares using AmiBroker and if you did if you would help me achieve the same...thank you kindly in advance !
Kind regards
Louw Coetzer
