An eye ball of the chart seem to show condition not quite meet at the rightpoint others missed altogether..
I added a sell to your code (sell = c<ma(close,20)) and ran a backtest without optimisation see attachment..
the true sell s/l should be the lowest bar in the setup ...but that's another code challenge for next week :))))
also the conditions are cancelled if ema20 is crossed buy the close price
I haven't decided yet if its a search that I would use for trading but found it a challenge in order to learn more about afl in the hope to apply it pattern recognition..

and my apologies to others in the group that find my constant emails a pain...
