Tomasz,

Just to add my thanks also for this upgrade.

The study function looks great ! Very well implemented as always.

Regarding Elliott Waves - I'm of the view that they are extremely difficultto interpret except in a breakout after a long base. In other situations you are left with alternatively likely options - which you can only decifer in hindsight. Not really very useful.

Candlestick recognition would be useful however ! Is weekly data/chart recognition planned as well as daily data/chart ?

Another idea - A tool to loop around a set of candles and Add them and showthe net result in a little window.

Regards,

Geoff

Hi,

You mean Elliot Waves? First I'd like to implement candlestick patterns
recognition functions as I found them more reliable and less subjective
than EW. Elliot waves are SO MUCH subjective (in my opinion) that
I am still in doubt that automatic system can reliably give you right answers.

I saw WinWaves and similar programs and my test show that in more than 50%
cases the program is wrong (even if authors say something different
- I performed some real-life tests). Even if the price goes in the direction
marked by the program - the probablity "cloud" generated is far from
being useful - especially when it says that price can go up 30% or down 30%
with the same probability :-(

So... will see but currently I have no idea how to make EW-system a reliable one.

Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko

Hi Tomasz,

Good job, well done. Excellent features thank you.

How about an EW recognition system?? Just asking.

Regards.
