I have to say that I do like the way my "other" charting program works in
this area (though I prefer AmiBroker in most other areas of interfacing with
the data). This program provides a series of keyboard shortcuts (in this
case "F" and "<shifted>F" keys) to do the following:

- Zoom in/out at current position
- Zoom in/out at furthest right (AmiBroker's default)
- Scroll left/right either by tick, by month, or by
displayed chart (ie., paging)

This functionality was recently discussed in here, with Tomasz' responding
in his usual helpful way. I think you'll find something along these lines
already on his "to do" list.
