I understood all of the above, although you made me realise more clearly
that there are *5 markets for each database*. That makes sense. Still, the
market identifyer only states arbitrarily to which market we associate them.
It doesn't do anything more than that, yet. I am just trying to think how to
make more use of it. I will probably make use of it for some of my quote
imports, but I haven't looked at it much, since some quotes that I use don't
include the exchange.
Workspaces can be either stocks related to one exchange (country or market)
and the "market" setting is not really needed, or they can be mixed. For
various reasons, I generally don't mix them, even though each company usually
has one ticker per country.
Re: workspaces
Do you intend to add more files (i.e. linked databases, etc.) to the same
directory as the stock histories are in now, or would they be kept in separate
directories?
WORKSPACE = (a stock history directory)
(a text file directory)
(future directories...)
